Students at Berwick Fields Primary School can now build their ECO Cubby, a fabulous new fun place to study the environment.

The Andrews Labor Government will provide $100,000 to build a new ECO cubby at Berwick Fields Primary School making the students plans a reality.

State Labor Member for Narre Warren South Judith Graley today joined with the Minister for Education, James Merlino, at Berwick Fields Primary School to tour the school and see firsthand where the ECO Cubby will be built.

The innovative learning and play space was designed by the school’s students, with the help of professional architects.

It will form a centrepiece of the Berwick Fields Primary’s sustainability and environmental education programs.

Plans for the Eco Cubby are almost complete and the school is seeking community partners and supporters – including tradespeople and building product providers – to help make it a reality.
