Operation SLIPPER, Australia’s military contribution to the International Security Assistance Force mission in Afghanistan and the Middle East has come to an end.

To recognise the bravery and sacrifice of those who served a commemorative march and ceremony will be held in Melbourne.

The march will be held on Saturday, 21 March beginning on St Kilda Road, opposite the National Gallery of Victoria and will conclude with a ceremony at the Shrine of Remembrance.

Ms Graley encouraged local residents to attend and show their support for the service and sacrifice of those that served in Operation SLIPPER.
