DYLAN HENRY STEPS UP AND GETS TO WORK

22 November 2016

Dylan Henry, an aspiring electrician, CFA volunteer and student from Narre Warren South P-12 College has been awarded this year’s Lynne Kosky Memorial VCAL Scholarship.

Parliamentary Secretary for Education Judith Couacaud Graley presented the scholarship to Dylan at Parliament House earlier this week.

The scholarship provides $5000 per year for up to five years to fund study, training or an apprenticeship.

Dylan will be undertaking the Victorian Certificate of Applied Learning (VCAL) next year and has already secured work placement at AGL Contracting.

The introduction of VCAL was one of Ms Kosky’s greatest achievements during her term as Minister for Education and Training from 2002 to 2006.
