Hampton Park has squared the ledger after a hard fought victory in the fourth annual Breast Cancer Awareness Cup on the weekend.

Each year the Fountain Gate and Hampton Park Youth Girls football teams stage a match to raise breast cancer awareness and vital funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia.

State Labor Member for Narre Warren South Judith Graley again presented the cup to the winning team.

“Each year the girls come out more committed than ever to winning the cup and doing their bit to raise awareness of the devastating impact breast cancer has on the lives of so many,”

“I am so impressed and inspired by their gutsy support of a cause that is so dear to my own heart,”

“Congratulations to both the Fountain Gate and Hampton Park Football Club’s for their efforts in organising this great event.”

Rachel Wilson, President of the Fountain Gate Junior Football Club said that the match was a great success, raising over $400 for Breast Cancer Network Australia.

“Thank you to everyone who got involved and contributed to the wonderful success of the 2014 Breast Cancer Awareness Cup,”

“We will continue to raise awareness and funds for this fantastic cause and we can`t wait for the rematch next year.”
