Planning is well underway at Hampton Park Primary School with the appointment of Minx Architects to design the $5 million upgrade to the school facilities.

The design will include a new science discovery centre and a refurbished school office, art, library and computer rooms as well as new toilets and staff facilities.

State Member for Narre Warrens South Judith Couacaud Graley led a community campaign for the much needed upgrade and secured funding for the project in this year’s State Budget.

As part of the Andrews Labor Government’s plan to transform Victoria into the Education State Hampton Park Primary School will also receive $347,737 of extra funding for the 2016 school year.

The additional funding is on top of funds already provided for enrolment growth, indexation and the everyday costs of running the school.
