JUDITH GRALEY TO LEAD CASEY HOSPITAL REDEVELOPMENT
11 October 2016
State Member for Narre Warren South Judith Couacaud Graley MP will lead a Community Advisory Group to help shape the $135 million expansion of Casey Hospital.
The advisory group will enable Ms Graley to work closely with the local community and ensure that local residents have their say on the vital project.
The expansion will deliver 160 new beds, four additional operating theatres, an intensive care unit and a day surgery unit.
Monash Health will also partner with Monash University to build new education and training facilities for medical, nursing and allied health students at Casey Hospital.
Construction is expected to begin next year and be open to patients in late 2019. For regular updates on the project visit the Casey Hospital expansion and upgrade Facebook page.
