State Labor Member for Narre Warren South Judith Graley congratulated Hampton Park on their historic win over Fountain Gate in the third annual Breast Cancer Awareness Cup.

Each year the Fountain Gate and Hampton Park Youth Girls football teams stage a match to raise breast cancer awareness and vital funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia.

“I was very impressed with the great turnout and support not just for such a wonderful cause, but for the girls who gave it their all on the field,”

“An extraordinary amount of effort goes into organising this match each year and to see Casey Fields, including both players and supporters decked out in Pink was a sight to behold,”

“Congratulations to both the Fountain Gate and Hampton Park Football Club for their efforts in organising this great event.”

Ms Graley said she was thrilled to witness Hampton Park record their maiden win in the
Breast Cancer Awareness Cup.

“The Fountain Gate girls had taken the spoils in the previous two encounters and again fought hard but just fell short to a determined Hampton Park,”

“Both teams should be incredibly proud of their efforts and I have no doubt that
Fountain Gate will use this as inspiration for next year.”
