Construction on a new multipurpose facility at Kambrya College can now get under way after the Andrews Labor Government provided the school with $3 million in the 2016-17 Victorian Budget.

Minister for Education James Merlino and State Member for Narre Warren South Judith Couacaud Graley today visited the school to meet staff and students and discuss the much needed project.

The new two storey facility will replace existing portable classrooms at the rear of the school and incorporate new classrooms and a multipurpose room on the second storey. The facility will also be available for community use.

Kambrya College also received a funding boost earlier this year when it received $621,111 in equity funding, up $31,533 compared to last year.
