The Andrews Labor Government is supporting young people in Narre Warren South with $187,000 in grants to celebrate National Youth Week in 2016, Member for Narre Warren South Judith Couacaud Graley announced today.

Local community organisations and schools can apply for grants of up to $2000 to assist with putting on events as part of National Youth Week.

The grants will support local young people to plan and host events and activities during National Youth Week 2016 – like art shows, concerts and other activities that celebrate young people’s achievements and get them involved in their communities.

National Youth Week is an annual, week-long celebration of young people who are 12 to 25 years old, allowing them to express their creativity and have their say about issues important to them.

Applications are open until Friday 13 November 2015.  For more information or to apply visit
