The Hampton Park Bowls Club held their annual Pink Breakfast to raise much needed funds for Breast Cancer Network Australia last week.

Now in its seventh year, the breakfast was attended by over 70 local residents and raised over $1,050.

State Labor Member for Narre Warren South Judith Graley said that it was always a great privilege to attend an event which provides such outstanding support to those affected by breast cancer.

“Gwen Clough and her wonderful team of Pink Ladies always go above and beyond in their efforts to raise both funds and awareness of the devastating impact breast cancer has on local families,”

“Yet again they have put on a fantastic event that was both touching and uplifting for everyone who came together for such a great cause,”

“The Hampton Park Bowls Club should be exceptionally proud of their efforts, I and the local community appreciate all that they do to support those affected by breast cancer.”

Gwen Clough, convenor of the Hampton Park Bowls Club’s Pink Breakfast, said that she was thrilled and deeply touched by the ongoing support from the local community.

“Each and every year we receive such generous support from local residents and once again we have raised an outstanding amount for Breast Cancer Network Australia,”

“We take such great pleasure in hosting this breakfast each year and we will continue to do all we can to support those in our community affected by breast cancer.”
