Sun protection is on the way for students at Strathaird Primary School thanks to a $100,000 grant from the Andrews Labor Government.

Strathaird Primary School has no existing shelter over the basketball courts and lacks adequate sheltered areas for their students to play under in summer or in poor weather.

The much needed grant will ensure the school can install shelter over their basketball courts and provide students with a multi-purpose outdoor learning area.

This outdoor area will be used for play and exercise, meetings and assemblies, as well as an extra learning space.
