The Berwick Artists Society have once again delivered an extraordinary art exhibition, State Labor Member for Narre Warren South Judith Graley said today.

Now in its second year the Berwick Artfest is an exhibition showcasing original artwork from both emerging and professional artists.

Ms Graley said that this year’s exhibition showcased a wealth of talent from the local community.

“I was thrilled to again be part of such a wonderful event, that I know takes an exceptional amount of work to pull off each year,”

“This year alone there were 308 paintings on display from 64 very talented artists,”

“Linda Oeser, President of the Berwick Artists Society and her team have once again produced a wonderful celebration of local art.”

Ms Graley said as Patron of the Berwick Artists Society, she was honoured to present the inaugural Judith Graley Art Award to Agnes Parcesepe for her painting, Autumn Gatherings.

“Autumn Gatherings was a wonderful piece,”

“I was also so very pleased to see Linda Oeser’s painting, My La Pieta, awarded Best in Show,”

“Linda is an exceptionally talented and hardworking woman who is always striving to promote the arts within the local community.”
