WOODWORKERS GET INTO THE SPIRIT OF GIVING

The Berwick District Woodworkers have once again gone above and beyond to bring Christmas joy to disadvantaged local children and their families.

For the past twenty years the hardworking and generous woodworkers have donated their time and extraordinary skills to handcraft toys for Christmas.

At their annual Toya Gala Day on Sunday the woodworkers provided almost 1000 handcrafted toys to local not for profit organisations to distribute to those in need.

The organisations that received toys included Cardinia Combined Churches, Casey North Community Information and Support Service, Cranbourne Information and Support Service, Migrant Resource Centre and Windermere Child and Family Services.

State Member for Narre Warren South Judith Couacaud Graley MP also received ten toys to donate to disadvantaged children within the Narre Warren South electorate.
