YOUND LEADER RILEY EVANS RECIEVES COMMUNITY SPIRIT AND LEADERSHIP AWARD

Coral Park Primary School student Riley Evans has been awarded the first Community, Spirit and Leadership award of 2014.

Each year, Ms Graley presents this award to one grade four student from each primary school in the Narre Warren South electorate.

Teachers select award winners who are regarded as having the potential to play a future leadership role in our community.

“Award winners display a range of qualities, including being considerate of others, civic minded and demonstrating initiative,”

“Riley is an outstanding young man and leader who has taken it upon himself to help those in need,”

“He is a fantastic role model for his classmates and I have no doubt that he will go on to play an important leadership role within our community.”

Teachers’ comments about Riley

  • Riley is a polite and well-mannered student who excels in both literacy and maths. He completes his homework each week to an excellent standard. Riley is a keen and extremely talented sportsman.
  • He plays football on weekends for the Wyndham Falcons where his dad has been the coach.
  • Earlier this year, Riley supported the charity, CANTEEN by raising around $2,000 for which he cut his long golden locks. We are all very proud of Riley and this award will put him in good stead for future leadership roles within our school and community.
