ZAYNE MANNIYAR WINS COMMUNITY SPIRIT AND LEADERSHIP AWARD

State Member for Narre Warren South Judith Graley has congratulated Trinity Catholic Primary School student Zayne Manniyar on winning her Community Spirit and Leadership Award.

Each year, Ms Graley presents this award to one grade four student from each primary school in the Narre Warren South electorate.

Teachers select award winners who are regarded as having the potential to play a future leadership role in our community.

“When nominating the students, the teachers used words and phrases like; compassionate, empathetic, motivated, helpful, positive, shows initiative and enjoys classroom discussions,” Ms Graley said.

“Zayne regularly displays a wonderful sense of charity, empathy and fairness to fellow students.”

“Zayne also show initiative in class discussions, is creative and insightful in responding to challenging questions and has a keen interest in current news.”

“Well done Zayne. I know you will continue to play an important leadership role in our community. Zayne’s parents and family should be very proud of him.”

“The future of Narre Warren South is in good hands – I will watch my award winners like Zayne with great interest and high expectations”
