Berwick Trade Careers Centre now open
I joined with the Minister for Training and Skills Steve Herbert MP and Member for Narre Warren North Luke Donnellan MP to open the $26 million trades training facility at Chisholm Institute’s Berwick Campus today.
I worked closely with the previous Labor Government and Chisholm, especially their tireless CEO Maria Peters to deliver this much needed facility. It is so very satisfying to see the very first students hard at work training to become our future tradespeople.
The Berwick Trade Careers Centre includes a multi-trade simulated building site that supports training in carpentry, plumbing, bricklaying and electrical work taking place at the same time. The Centre also offers high capacity electro-technology, telecommunications and plumbing laboratories, and hair and beauty salons.
If you would like to apply for a course at this fantastic new facility or would like further information on the courses available please go to http://www.chisholm.edu.au/Applying/How_to_apply
